A member asked:

Would saline sinus irrigation help to open up eustachian tubes and clear thick sticky white mucus with eustachian tube dysfunction or would it make it worse?

It should help. If it does not, you can use Nasonex or Nasacort in between.

It will likely have no effect at all. Your Eustachian tubes connect the middle ear to the back of your throat as collapsible tubes. Your sinuses have no connection to them at all. If you wash away debris in the back of your nose that leads to allergic drainage in your head, it might have a minor indirect effect.
