The translation means an infection of the armpit (s), which may be fungal in nature. It is more an irritating process than something bad. The docs can examine the site and do some simple tests to see if it is from a fungal and or bacterial infection and treat based on these findings. The words sound scary, but I would not lose sleep over it. If your home care doesn't help, get it evaluated.
