A member asked:

I've got a few ingrown hairs in my pubic area that aren't going away. i read that cortisone or retinoid can help. i've got dapta gel and dovate cream at home. is it worth trying these? or is there another home remedy i can try?

Hot,packs: Would avoid steroids, but try hot moist packs to the involved area, washing well with soap, and water, and tweezing out the ingrown hairs. Apply bacitracin or other.antibacterial ointment after hair removal. You might consider shaving the area afterwards and watch for repeat offenders. Good luck
