Yes: Benzoyl peroxide will bleach anything it comes into contact with, including facial hair. It is a gradual lightening, not necessarily a drastic effect. If you are trying to treat acne underneath a mustache or beard, try a salicylic acid acne cream which will not cause this bleaching effect.
