A member asked:

What hair removal cream is okay for the pubic area down by the vagina and armpit ? and over-the-counter cream in case of rash?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hair removal creams: As a dermatologist, i can tell you that over the counter products for hair removal very seldom work. Laser hair removal is the most effective, but expensive. Vaniqa (eflornithine) is a cream that can be used to reduce dark hairs, usually prescribed for facial hair, but could be effective in the armpits and groin. It is not covered by insurance. Hydrocortisone 1% cream for otc tx of rashes.
