41f have lupus, sjorgens, antiphospholipid syndrome and being tested for Cushing disease. I had the cortisol stim test and my labs show that they were high but my acth was normal. Im so worried. Is it normal for cortisol to raise after the steriod?
Expected high cortisol results since bipolar, told 3/13 saliva test (1.94 mcg/dl, 11pm) unreliable. 6/13 labs = 8am blood 5.9, dexameth. Supp. (1mg) 0.8, 24 hr free urine 7.1. Why low now if bipolar?
Post partial rt adrenalectomy for subclinical cushings. F/up labs still high- 1mg 11p DST, testosterone, 11p saliva cortisol, metanephrine fract plasma, aldosterone/renin. Lt adrenal - 7mm nodule w/hyperplasia. Is it most likely functioning as well?
High blood cortisol levels but normal 24 Hour Free Cortisol levels. What could this mean? Ive had 2 blood cortisol tests which both came back high. The urine test was only done once. Im waiting to do a saliva test next?
