41f have lupus, sjorgens, antiphospholipid syndrome and being tested for Cushing disease. I had the cortisol stim test and my labs show that they were high but my acth was normal. Im so worried. Is it normal for cortisol to raise after the steriod?
If my blood and 24 hr urine cortisol levels are normal is it still possible for me to have Cushing's? I have almost all the symptoms.
Is a blood cortisol test sufficient in diagnosing Cushing's or Addison's? Or are urine tests better?
Which other hormone imbalances can cause a very typical Cushing's appearance in a woman but with normal cortisol levels on blood and urine testing. thank you?
