Then enter all other drugs he is taking into interaction check and discuss with Dr. The two of them can them discuss the risks and benefits of taking this to slow CKD progression to need for dialysis.

The reports on farziga for preventing risk of kidney failure or renal deaths are extremely encouraging. It will not reverse kidney pathology though.. I wouldn't consider this a dangerous medication and encourage you to follow your physician's advice.
