Today i thought my coworker was someone else. i knew the correct name but thought she was someone else. she could tell from my response i didn't realize it was her based on my responses and my eye expression. my son says tia? maybe?

This type of transient agnosia could have been a TIA but you were obviously able to recognize other people & objects so I'm unsure. Nevertheless it may be advisable to have a neurologist review the episode, evaluate you & order any appropriate tests

I doubt it. That phenomenon happens to anyone at times. However, if this specific amnesia recurs often, you should see a neurologist by then.
