A member asked:

Although there is kappa predominance of cd19-negative plasma cells by flow cytometry, morphologic features do not permit diagnosis of plasma cell neoplasm --can you interpret this to me, please? is this mgus, smm or mm? it is part of my bm biopsy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, the information you provided is not sufficient for a diagnosis. Wish you good health!
