You could get alcoholic hepatitis but from three months of heavy drinking. It may also result in scarring. Cirrhosis takes longer to develop. Do yourself a favor and abstain from alcohol entirely. It will destroy your brain cells, facilitate development of cancer in many organs, including breast, cause hepatitis, cirrhosis and pancreatitis etc. There is no safe level of alcohol intake.
