That is unlikely. Cirrhosis takes years of toxic insult to develop. Though folks can develop acute inflammation within the liver from large amounts of alcohol intake over a short time. It would be best to discuss with your doctor about steps to safely discontinue any heavy drinking to ensure a healthy liver in the future.

You could get alcoholic hepatitis but from three months of heavy drinking. It may also result in scarring. Cirrhosis takes longer to develop. Do yourself a favor and abstain from alcohol entirely. It will destroy your brain cells, facilitate development of cancer in many organs, including breast, cause hepatitis, cirrhosis and pancreatitis etc. There is no safe level of alcohol intake.
