Ultrasound just showed vascular nodule in postoperative thyroid bed. i had my thyroidectomy 6 1/2 years ago and now my ultrasound is showing a vascular nodules size measures 9 x 4 x 4 mm. should i have it biopsied?

If your thyroidectomy was performed secondary to a malignant thyroid tumor, see the ENT surgeon who did the procedure for an exam and interpretation of the U/S detected "vascular nodules" for guidance.

I just had ultrasound of my thyroid. I was wanting explanation of the report. I had a right thyroidectomy in 2004. The report says left lobe is normal. There is no normal thyroid tissue seen on right side. There is a tiny hypoechoic nodule in isthmus.
