It could be that you had spontaneous loss of an early pregnancy, which is not uncommon. About 25% of early pregnancies are lost, mostly due to chromosomal defects in the embryo. Usually the only manifestation is a slightly heavy, delayed period. Wish you good health!

Symptoms such as described can also occur with pregnancy outside of the uterus (ectopic). Obtain a serum HCG test, which is more accurate, and if positive , see your GYN physician for an exam and further testing ( such as ultrasound).
