Do you have a family history of varicose veins? Do you have varicose veins at this time? If not your internal leg veins with faulty valves are the problem, will get worse and may need stripping. Lying down with legs elevated high relieves pain. Compression stockings prescribed yet? The vascular surgeon will evaluate you, order appropriate tests & then advise you.

You will likely need intervention by specialist. In the meantime, avoid prolonged standing or sitting, keep moving your feet when you have to sit or stand, raise your legs above heart level or at least in horizontal possible if possible when you are at rest. Regular exercise is recommended and compression stocking should be tried pending surgical evaluation.

It is best you wait to see what the vein specialist says before you start worrying too much. Your CTA was normal and you PAD iis negative is a great sign. You are young there are problems for which there are solutions. Good luck.
