A member asked:

Slight throbbing top left calf, not constant,no swelling, doesn't get worse when pressed. doesn't effect walking. pulled muscle, vein prob, other prob?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Could be either : Sounds like it's a pulled muscle and you can try some anti inflammatory medications along with heat applied to your calf. However, blood clot must be ruled out and I suggest you see your doctor for obtaining leg ultrasound.
