A port will be inserted in 3 days and will start chemo. successful surgery but pathology report showed cancer in 24 lymph nodes and has cancer in his lungs. signet ring is a aggressive cancer i am concerned is this cancer curable?

No, it is not curable. I wish he can achieve a remission. In general, the maximal 5 year survival rate of this metastatic cancer is only 30%.

When the cancer is spread to other organs it is in advanced stages and the goals for treatment change from cure to life prolonging by slowing it down. Talk to treating oncologist. Hope for the best while preparing for all possible outcomes.
