Currently have an iv in my wrist. its disconected from bag (not attached to anything)and clamp.there is a bit of saline left in just a portion of the line. a lot of bubbles and a bit with dry blood. when they connect me all that will go in, embolism?

Any evidence of blood, including clots, should be discarded prior to reconnecting the IV, and meticulous sterile technique must be followed when an IV is reconnected.
