Depends on details..: Heart pain, chest tightness, chest pain, and shortness of breath can be due to minor problems or to very serious ones. If worrisome or new symptoms, an ER doctor can check to see what might be going on. Possible causes include a heart angina, lung disease, reflux, heart arrhythmias, anxiety, etc... If a known ongoing issue, may need a team approach with Cardiology, Primary Care, and Psychiatry.
