Is it possible that patient gets iv infusion in hospital with lot of air bubbles in the tube and be normal...and after two days past away?could air embolism be the reason and how to know?

Air Embolism: It actually takes a large amount of air in an IV infusion for a patient to have a serious deleterious effect. I know on TV, that often some one dies after a small amount of air is in their IV line - but that isn't real life.
