My throat feels sore on and off and my tonsils look red and giant it's hard to swallow noodles and stuff like that and it feels like it gets caught in my throat every time i try to swallow but there's nothing there what could be causing this?

That feeling is common when you have acute, hyperplastic tonsilitis. Just take tylenol every 6-8 hours as needed for the discomfort and you will feel better in a couple days.
