Sore throat: Common causes for sore throat are strep, mono adenovirus and rhinovirus. Allergic drainage can also cause sore throat. You are young and appear to have no health problems so a fungal infection possible, but unlikely. Although you do not have red or pustular tonsils strep still possible. Fluids, ibuprofen and rest. You may need to be seen.
