Hair salon all walls exposed brick look. i later looked closely and saw broken parts of plaster left on it all over. building was old. how can i be sure there was no asbestos? my 2 yr old was there for 15 mins getting his fringe cut. i feel sick?

Asbestos is not likely to cause problems during a 15 min exposure unless the asbestos was agitated. Why not ask if the walls contained asbestos.

Please have a COVID 19 test and follow up with your physician if not well. Your two year old was only near the plaster for 15 minutes, and if there was no ingestion ( potential for lead exposure), monitor for any symptoms. It is very unlikely that this exposure will cause long term problems. Inquire about the age of the building. A lead test is a part of routine pediatric screening.
