Metastatic cancer in the lungs is rarely presented with a single lesion (nodule). Adrenal lesion which is accidentally detected by CT or MRI of the abdomen is usually benign and we call it adrenal incidentaloma. I doubt these two findings are related and the work up, if needed, will depend on each lesion and your symptoms. These findings are the reason why I am always against whole body CT scan.
