I recently had surgery to excise a cyst from where my l labia majora meets my leg. since, i have had a region ~2-3" below my incision towards my perineum that is painful when pressed. from the surface, it just looks like a vein. what could this be?

I am sorry it is not possible to guess wehat it could be without more information as to when snd why the surgery was done.And also physical exam to feel what is going on.I will advise you to have it checked by the surgeon who operated or your PMD

Hard to tell without an exam. Try a heating pad several times a day for a few days and if not better see the surgeon again. Hope you do well.
