Is a daily dose of 10 mg isotretinoin capsules for 4 months effective in treating mild oriented comedogenic acne and reducing secretion of sebum? this dose has been prescribed by a dermatologist just to dry the comedones and reduce the sebum?

I would prefer topical isotretinoin in mild acne but a lower dose than 10 mg has been used.
