Patient abandonment is a very serious breach of medical responsibility. Without knowing what you are being treated for or the medication or the circumstances regarding cessation of your care, the best you can do for yourself is to find a new provider. You may have to visit an urgent care center if unable to get and appointment with a similar physician.

You have to look for a physician with a similar specialty and have your records transferred. There is likely a reason for why you got discharged from your physician’s practice that might not be clear to you. For severe symptoms due to withdrawal a local urgent care or emergency room will be best to use.
