1 month old had his check up today&doctor said his head was measuring larger than his 2 week appointment from 70% to 90% she examined him & said his head looks normal&that it's most likely human error since someone different measured him last.normal?

Please see previous answer to your question. The measurement may have been in error. Folllow up with your Pediatrician for vomiting, change in alertness or poor feeding. Most likely everything is fine. A repeat measurement in two weeks is recommended. You may also measure the head circumference by using a soft measuring tape and logging measurements weekly. Review the growth chart with your M.D.

This is within the upper normal range for infants at that age. Measurements will also vary some by who does it and can vary at the same encounter. The pediatrician can also readily discount the idea "hydrocephalus" or other expansion under pressure by simple measures on physical exam.
