Does he/she have: congestion, respiratory symptoms? That alone could cause it to be more difficult to suck while breast feeding, than bottle feeding. If he/she develops decreased intake from the bottle, or fever, or other symptoms, I would recommend that you take him/her back to the doctor to be rechecked.
