Just before losing insurance my endo told me that there was a new testosterone pill on the market that did not raise hematocrit, bypassed metabolism in the liver, and did not cause cancer (have sec. polycythemia). can you please tell me the name?

In 2019, FDA approved Jatenzo (testosterone undecanoate), an oral testosterone capsule to treat men with certain forms of hypogonadism. However, this drug should not, like other testosterone treatments, be used to treat older men with ‘age-related hypogonadism. Jatenzo can cause blood pressure to rise, increasing the risk of heart attack, stroke and cardiovascular death.

There is new pill out called Jatenzo which makes these claims. I do not know what your MD had in mind. Always be careful before taking hormones
