I agree with Dr. Romano. If you really coughed up the bloody, rusty (old) mucus, CT chest needs to be done. Patients sometimes use the wrong term "coughing up" instead of "throwing up". If you mean throwing up old, bloody mucus from your stomach, upper endoscopy should be done. Peritoneal nodules could be mesenteric adenopathy but they could be something else more serious. You need more works-up.
