Nodule: Can you clarify where is the nodule? Your cough may have multiple causes, i suggest you see an allergist as your medications indicate you may suffer from them, they can approach your symptoms from a different angle.

Benign Nodules: Beningn nodules tends to have smoother edges and more even color throughout and more regular shape than the cancerous nodules.And if a nodule looks benign on cat scan, and uf it enlarges decision is made to biopsy it and if biopsy proves it to be benign. Decision to resect a benign tumor is made by the doctors if 1if you are a smoker 2if the nodule has grown bigger as in your case 3symptom relief.
