What may be important is what you eat rather than the frequency of eating. If you are in the habit of eating sugary or simple carbs may be flooding the blood with sugar and going down fast because of high insulin. Do not wait too long to eat but also balance your plate with veget, fibers and healthy fat to slow down absorption. Medical conditions may also show up like this, probably get evaluated.
