I am suffering from acne like breakouts & constipation ever since i was put on lyrica for neuropathy but had no such issue when i was on neurontin. are these listed side effects of pregabalin? because if they are then i better switch to gabapentin?

Constipation is a listed as a common side effect of pregabalin but acne is not. However, by my experience, young people with constipation are prone to have acne breakout than people with normal bowel movement so I guess there is some relationship there between pregabalin use, constipation and acne. Gabapentin can cause constipation too but much less common so you may switch if it's also effective.
