Does pregabalin sr ( sustained release) will be effective in case of insomnia? taking ir variant for rls but i suffer from daytime symptoms as well so thinking about switching to sr variant but at the same time, want it to help with insomnia issue?

Yes, if RLS is the main reason for insomnia but pregabalin is not used to treat insomnia by itself. In reality, some people may benefit one of pregabalin's side effects which is sleepiness. It won't hurt if you want to give it a try.
