There's an error, your iron saturation should be in %, not mg/dl, is it serum transferrin? Although ferritin has improved, TIBC remains very high so you still have significant iron deficiency. The increase in ferritin does not always mean your iron storage is good. At times, especially in certain condition such as inflammation, your body can not process iron effectively for making red blood cells.
