Can a patient with a heart rate of 116 and a rhythm of afib display bigeminal ves or would the rhythm be diagnosed as junctional tachycardia with bigem pvcs?

One can have A Fib with a PVC following every QRS by a rentry circuit in the ventricles. However if the ventricular rhythm is perfectly regular, you would then have A Fib with AV dissociation and junctional tachycardia with ventricular bigeminy. The ventricular rhythm would then be completely independent of the atrial activity. I hope this helps.

You only use the term junctional tachycardia when the rhythm is regular.
