Acute pancreatitis 3 years ago and havent had a drop of alch. since diagnosis. Recently went I got tests on my pancreas and my lipase came back 13 based on 16-63 range & amylase came back 39 in 2-125 range. Looking for 2nd opinion on results?
Ive been feeling a bit dizzy recently so I checked my glucose levels fasting and it is 7.4. Could I have diabetes? I did have an elevated lipase a couple of weeks back but normal amylase & dr said its possibly mild pancreatitis?
Ive had pancreatic enzymes checked a few times over the years. Lipase has never been elevated but amylase fluctuates. Ive had it as high as 300. Ive also had it just above the range and normal as well. Never pancreatitis. Could be cancer ???
Went to er, bad lower stomach cramps, massive diarrhea. Wbc 13.27 (4.00x10.80) high neutrophils low lymphs. Pancreatitis? No test lipase or amylase. diangosis gastroenteritis. Felt 100% 2 hours later.
How likely is it that I have pancreatitis without pain? Does any raise in lipase and amylase mean pancreatitis?
