I had ingruial hernia surgery after 4 weeks i devolped a hydrocele on my right testical i had it asperated the dr said it should come back if the hernia was what cause the hydrocele is this true?

It is unusual to develop a Hydrocele following hernia surgery. It is usually a hematoma. If it was a hematoma it will not come back. If it was a hydrocele (which I doubt) it probably will.

Hydrocele followig Hernia Surgery can happen 0.6% of cases in Pediatric Age group.But less often in adults.It is true it can come back.
