Bought a bp monitor that fits on wrist. had a choking scare and then checked bp 10 min out of curiosity and it read 151/101. could it be? 2 hrs later checked again 149/40. normally it hovers b/e 109 - 122/69 -80. feel fine, not on meds?

Probably as a result of chocking and apprehension following it. It will normalize dont worry. Dont take BP after such happenings as it will be elevated as a normal reaction.
