Is if safe to deliver a child vaginally after having a fissurectomy + lateral internal sphincterotomy (lis)? i'm a 24 y/o female and i got the surgery when i was 20. i am afraid of the incontinence risk of having multiple children after lis?

There is no contraindication of vaginal childbirth with history of lateral internal sphincterectomy. Naturally, risk of incontinence is higher with multiple vaginal deliveries but routine pelvic exercise can alleviate the risk.
