What does it mean for a fibroid to have internal flow?

I haven't heard of this term but, since fibroids are quite vascular, the term may signify that the fibroid has a rich blood supply. Your gynecologist can explain this finding better,however.

Ultrasound can detect blood flow in and around fibroids, but this is not typically mentioned with fibroids. It could be just a random comment but other possibilities are that there is actually a cluster of fibroids or that it might not really be a fibroid. You should clarify this with your gynecologist.
