What does it mean when your endometrium has a 2cm fibroid abutted?

It is called a sub-mucosal uterine fibroid which sits immediately under the endometrium. These types of fibroids can cause extensive and heavy arterial bleeding at the time of the period or in between the periods. If those are your symptoms your MD has found the cause and should be offering you some advise.
