I have a weird sore feeling in my mouth/throat, slight malaise, sometimes wake up sweaty, don't really have my usual appetite, it feels like its a bit harder to breathe through the nose and have a slight (mostly dry) cough. could it be mono?

It could be mono, but these symptoms also could be Covid, flu, pneumonia, or any of a long list of other disorders. Were you in contact with someone who was recently diagnosed with mono? See your doctor for testing asap
