A member asked:

I got an mri for rapid vision loss. my mri shows a congenital venous abnormality and t2 signal hyperintensities in the occipital lobe. i would like more info on what that means because i have no insurance and cant afford the $700 neuro visit?

Do not know where you live, but in the USA, $700 to see a neurologist is more than double the usual amount. Find a medical school and be seen there on a sliding scale. Unlikely that venous anomaly is playing a role, and the T2 lesions are likely chronic, and hard to correlate here. Wonder if your visual loss is ocular, and not cortical. An ophthalmologist might be best choice.
