A member asked:

If i developed intracranial hypertension when i gained weight from 67kg to 97kg. and don't go into remission at 78kg weight loss. should i persevere to 67kg weight loss? i am 170cm tall, female, 30 years old. developed iih at 20 years old. thank you?

If you do indeed have a proven diagnosis of Pseudotumor Cerebri, causing increased intracranial pressure, weight loss might help substantially, but may not be the underlying major cause, and may not reverse the process. Would persevere nonetheless, and work closely with your neurologist.
