Diet and physical exercise remain the mainstay of any weight loss program. Joining a weight loss group or program may help in keeping you focused and keeping up with realistic goals.

Easier said than done, you need to reduce the amount of food you consume. Aim for eating half the amount you have been eating. Joining a support program may help. Increasing you physical activity/exercise will improve your health. Wish you good health!

For me, diet played a larger role in losing weight than exercise. (I already tended to exercise regularly). I do agree, however, that both combined is the best approach. Minimizing sugar's, sweets, and starchy foods (potatoes, rice, pasta, bread) while upping protein intake and eating small portions worked best for me, to keep weight off. It should be a lifestyle change you're able to stick to.
