If this was a standard 12 lead EKG which has 4 limb leads and 6 precordial or chest leads, I'm sure those lead placements would confuse the EKG interpretation. Sometimes we do ask for special lead placements but I never heard of those placements. An echocardiogram has different lead setup. Check this out with your cardiologist.
