A member asked:

My frnd did ct scan and incidentally found there's non specific tiny pleural based nodules in both lungs with fibrotic bands in lower zone, but the physician never said anything related to it,as ct scan was done for another purpose, could it be cancer?

Those findings can be the residuals from a previous fungal or parasitic or bacterial pulmonary infection if your friend had previous exposure. It is almost the same for the finding of calcified lesions in the primary infection of tuberculosis. It is not clinically relevant so his doctor did not pay attention or explain the finding.
