Amylase at 250 can be from multiple sources than just the pancreas. Normal lipase and CT scan rule out pancreatitis and without an apparent lesion in the pancreas does likely rule out pancreatic cancer as well. You should let us know the reason why you had blood test and CT of the abdomen done. An acute bowel problem is one of the common causes of mildly elevated amylase level.

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, your amylase is not elevated for a diagnosis of pancreatitis, especially with normal lipase. You may have a benign condition -macro-amylasemia. Wish you good health!
