A member asked:

Is it genital warts if it was on the outer labia major closest to the groin, was small and smooth and treated with one application of cream? if it was genital warts and never recurred is it likely that you can pass it on after 8 years?

That location is more likely a strain of common, non-genital warts. The majority if not all clinical wart strain's clear the primary infestation in 2 yr +/- and do not transmit the strain after that time. It is rare but possible.

Chances are very low but it is remotely possible if the wart was HPV
